In Russian Empire, a colony ((ロシア語:колония)) was a type of a settlement, typically agricultural, created under government encouragement in sparsely populated territories. Most commonly they were created by foreigners invited to resettle to Russia〔Bartlett R. P. Human Capital: The Settlement of Foreigners in Russia 1762–1804. Cambridge, 1979〕 〔Brandes D. Von den Zaren adoptiert: Die deutschen Kolonisten und Balkansiedler in Neurussland und Bessarabien 1751–1914. München, 1993.〕 but there were also efforts to create Jewish colonies.〔(AGRICULTURAL COLONIES IN RUSSIA ), ''Jewish Encyclopedia''〕 The settlers were called colonists ((ロシア語:колонисты)). For example, this was done in newly acquired lands, such as Novorossiya and Bessarabia.〔 ==See also== *history of Germans in Russia, Ukraine and the Soviet Union *Slavo-Serbia *New Serbia 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Colony (Russian Empire)」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
